Camilla Watson is a Queer Russian-American illustrator and book artist based in Portland, OR. She received a BA in Visual Art and English from Brown University, during which time she also took illustration classes from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Camilla draws inspiration from fantasy stories, video games, folklore and children's book illustration. She works in acrylic gouache and digitally, focusing on creating immersive worlds that bridge the magical and the mundane. Through vivid color and rich texture Camilla loves to depict lush nature, playful characters and everyday objects imbued with a touch of whimsy.
